Ritmo or mtec

I'm after a machine thats able to spray hardwall and skim or just skim
Ive looked at the ritmo m and the mtec 100 but not sure which will work best.
 
The M-tec M100 is only available in 110v and won't spray Hardwall. For just skim it is a very good machine, we will happily provide a demonstration at our unit free of charge. Please feel free to give me a call if you want to arrange this

I would recommend you have a good look at both machines working from start to finish.

PFT Northern will be able to help you out with a demo on the Ritmo. We will show you the M100 in action.

If you look in the BG Spray Finish booklet it's actually what they use. Knauf Drywall also use the M100
 
Whereabouts are you based ? You may well have somebody using quite local to you who will let you pop along to see one in action
 
Hey rigsby happy new year and all yeah the Ritmo's going sweet now have sorted out loads of thing over the last few months and wouldnt go back to the drill and buckets method :)only problem i had lately was one brand of render didnt pump very well and would set in the pipes after 10 mins or so its poly modified so needs to be mixed up twice then stays wet for ages les put a video up in this forum of us spraying here in darwin check out my mates work flip flops

We use a ritmo M for base coats, render and gypsum backing coats, love it. The skimming set up doesn't interest me though.

The render i used just wasnt pump friendly if i mixed it in buckets first let it sit for 5 mins then bit more water and another mix it would be fine but its easier to just buy pump render
 
Hi mate, I can see where your coming from. I would go careful on the 230/240v as some sites will not allow it on there. If you want to have a look at any of our machines at some point please give me a call and I would be happy to help
 
Would like to see a gang who own a ritmo who are up and running with the skimming set up to watch there method of work and see how it would be used day in day out. Any one set up with a ritmo for skimming around the west midlands (or elsewhere as willing to travel if i have to) that wouldn't mind me coming to see how they work?
 
Thanks Ryan, it would have to be a 110v version regardless of what machine. I may take a look at the M100 before i commit to anything but ritmo seems to tick all the boxes.
 
Scissors the demo was MP finish, were hand applying it at the moment on a large job so wanted to see if its any good spraying it as thats what its intended for.We were using Knauf universal board finish but thats now been discontinued.
 
AH.....OK...

And what do you think of it?

what is it like to use by hand?

is it the same when sprayed?

is it really any faster?

Plastamasta.

Currier plastering who uses this forum has the 110v Ritmo. He uses it daily for different products.

The Ritmo M 110v and 230v have the same specifications. If you want to see a demonstration with different products you can come down to our depot in Wales. Just bring the products you wanna see being used. I can advice you on how to get the most from a plastering machine with different applications. i.e monocouches, traditional pebble dashing systems, 1 coat cement and sand stucco, Hardwall and set etc etc.

Machine plastering is much ado about replacing higher paid operatives who would be laying on and mixing daily with a machine and lower paid operatives such as trainees etc.
Its not always about "being faster by hand" and more about using the time saved laying on and mixing to prep and advance the job further. IMO
 
Buy a three phase for mono or a ritmo for acrylics like blones said the rest is just as quick by hand
