Ordering a new trowel for skimming and torn between a carbon 16x4, (primarily chosen) but wondered what peoe thought of the duraflex?
I will be using it primarily for laying on and flattening as I generally finish with SF.
Could duraflex users give me some input please?

Lubricant helps... [emoji6]

Had a duraflex, but have no idea how it differs. Nice trowel though. Still got it, still use it.

This is by far the most helpful post you'll ever read on this thread. [emoji23]

Are they stiff enough to lay on with even say when the gear is stiffening up?

Aye mate , obviously more flex than the solid trowel . Alot more sturdy that refinas . Its all i use . My refina never gets out the van

To be honest i would say a worn in duraflex is easily the best all rounder out there at the moment , use mine for everything now, after a bit of breaking in that is

They're great. No problem laying on with them. Not that flexi.
