Hi Guys,
I have OSB ply dormers which I have put on a membrane, then battons, then about to do another membrane then rib lath before sand/cement render.
Stupid question but what way do I attach the rib lath to the dormer? I assume horizontal and I saw online that the flat side should be on the outside so the spike of the pyramid is against the battons and the render goes “into the rib lath”. Or should I attach it so the flat side is again the battons and the rib lath “pyramids” are on the outside?
I then end up with OSB, membrane,batton, membrane, rib and then sand/cement render which should stop any cracking.
