i got to to render a retaining wall, only about 4 feet high where the original render has blown, i was going to use webber
on top of sbr slurry but will the waterproofness (is that a real word) of the sbr cause any problems with holding any moisture in the wall. any ideas anyone please?

Taking into consideration that positive water pressure will probalbly being an issue, carefully drill weep holes into the finshed render at 600mm spacings.Or slightly more aesthetically pleasing ...install 50mm drainage pipe into the bored holes( leaving approx 16mm protruding prior to rendering and render up to for neat job.Rendaid or SBR slurry coat..both will give you a good key for subsequent coatings of your desired choice.

Happy rendering mate :RpS_biggrin:

positive water pressure, thats what i was worried about but im too thick to realise thats what it was called. thank you
