Replacement sponges for spongefloats

Does anyone just buy the the sponge replacement and take old sponge off and put the new one on , tbh I just buy a new one but notice on the magic and course floats now can buy sets with 3 sponges to replace on the same plastic float
Only problem I see is how you make them stick on or stay on ?

Evo stick used to work for me but I didn’t buy the sponges had a lump of foam ish stuff that worked really well

Thanks some of these come with sponges to put on I ripped old one off and looking thinking must need some kind of glue, tbh I have all different brands but not sure it will stay on but would save a few bob buying whole new float
