Hi All,
I have a couple of questions which I'd be grateful for your advice on, please.
My question is: is this the correct approach? and should I apply a scratch coat of bonding then a top coat?
My question is: can I just re-skim the wall or should I fill this patches first with bonding?
Thanks for any advice you can give me.

- I need to repair blown render over a cement lintel, all the render and plaster has been removed and my plan is to PVA the lintel, then set an angle bead, then apply bonding, and skim.
My question is: is this the correct approach? and should I apply a scratch coat of bonding then a top coat?
- There are also patches of blown plaster on other walls, the blown plaster has been scraped back to the render which is sound.
My question is: can I just re-skim the wall or should I fill this patches first with bonding?
Thanks for any advice you can give me.
