I'm after some advice please. I'm about to render the porch on my house as the brick work is terrible. It's so bad when I put a straight edge on it the top sticks out about 20mm more than the bottom. I want to edge it with stop bead to get a nice clean squarefinish but if I fix that to the brick the time I feather it out flat il have no space for the render at the top. Should I apply the scratch coat 1st then add the bead once flat or mayb fix some 20mm batten to wall then the stop bead on that? Thanks
