Rendering Question

I haven't done much in the way of rendering as 99% of my work is internal. I've helped other spreads out occasionally but basically just got it on the wall for them and let them do the rest on bigish jobs.

I've picked up a job for an old mate though who wants a bricked (blockwork) up doorway rendering and tyrolened to match the surrounding wall. It's only a small area and it'll be on mates rates so don't want to spend too long on it. Has anyone used rapid setting cement for rendering? If so, do you get the same workability etc but just a faster setting time? Can it be mixed with normal cement to speed things up just a little?

Oh, and can I use it to flick the wall afterwards as well?

Cheers  :)

Rendering is a doddle.... Tyrolene however is a pig... you will need a spatter box I think... never really done tyrolene.

Slap the render on rule off rub up fill hollows with float beautiful
