Hello everyone, sorry if this has been answered before. Looking for some advice.

I'm about to apply render on my home over existing Tyrolean. It's painted, but it's all in good order ( the render and paint ) il be jet washing first. The idea is to finish with new render with a lime wash paint ontop.

What I need help with is choosing the right render to use. I was thinking Vimark Risolite but I am I right in thinking this is only a base coat and would need to have a finishing coat on top? Or can I seal it and not bother with a second coat? Would the lime wash paint act as a sealer?

The effect I'm after is that of a lime rendered home. (I'm aware the main reason for lime is to let the building breathe, but I've got a PIV unit fitted so not that worried about that aspect) so if there is a cheaper option that is not lime based im open to that as well.
Cheers for any info anyone can offer me.

One thing I forgot to add, the render would ideally be white or an off white as to not affect the colour of the line paint, cheers m.
