rendering advice please

Hi Guys
any thoughts on using rend-aid then mono over existing painted render on a garden wall.?
I know weber don't advise rend-aid over paint but as anyone tried it.

Did some about 8 years ago and it's still on.we bedded mesh into the rend aid, don't know if this helped but it still looks fine.

Why don't you mesh and pin to be on the safe side.

As Sturt belo says, pin back the mesh in the rend aid and to be safe mesh the render coat as well.

Garden walls are usually built all wrong to take render.
