Render swimming pool on reinforced foam blocks

Hi has any1 rendered a swimming pool on the reinforced foam blocks
Iv been told it's a 2 coat acrylic render with with render mesh but would they need a primer of key coat 1st
And any advice on the best products to use

do you mean icf? insulated concrete frame?

are you rendering inside or out the pool?
acrylic is fine externally. doesnt need priming straight on with basecoat

i wouldnt use acrylic then

Ok I'll get the spec I was just told by the bloke who supplied the blokes is that most people put acrylic on with render mesh

yeah i can see that for the external walls maye but not inside. i could be wrong but doesnt sound right to me

Why would you acrylic it if your going to tile,sounds like someone's got a crosswire.
We did a pool last year with icf,we rendered the icf house in Parex ehi and the pool with 2 passes of maitie to about 8mm to tile on.

Wants an adhesive such as maitie for going over icf, a render would crack and delaminate.

Give the Parex rep a ring, get them to look At it,and earn there money.
