Hi all,

New member here looking for some advice please.

Looking to render the front, side and back of a single story extension plus a section on the first floor at back of property - approx 60m2 in total and to go on various surfaces - Knauf Aquapanel cement boards, existing brickwork and new blockwork.

I’ve done quite a lot of reading/ research and have spoken to various people. General consensus seems to be to steer clear of k-rend.

One of the guys I’ve spoken to uses EWI Pro Bio Silicone and highly recommended it.

Just wondered whether anyone on here has used it and whether it’s any good/ recommended?

Ive tried researching but not much info/ reviews on it online apart from EWI’s own stuff on the website.

Would appreciate any help/ advice anyone can give me!!!

Cheers pal, that’s good to know.

I’m leaning towards EWI based on what I’ve read/ others have said but was just a bit unsure as most others have recommended parex or weber so wanted to see what people on here thought.

Anyone else used EWI bio silicone?!

Johnson's thin coat system,
High flex base coat over everything
It's top notch, 30 year guarantee if applied to spec massive range of colours
30 years???? 10 for render only mate an 15 for ewi, are you sure 30 years?
