The old roughcast has been hacked off a brick house back to the brick . The client (as they do) has asked if we can rendagrip all the bricks before we coat it then roughcast again . We've used rendagrip on patches before on other jobs and it's worked fine. Bit apprehensive about using it on a while house tho. He doesn't care about the cost of the rendagrip. What's your thoughts on here about it ?

Even new block work ?.

If it is weaker than 7 newton.

Too stong a mix on weak backgrounds can cause it to shell.

I use it because of my tennis elbow. No instant grab so easier on the joints plus also if you are meshing and ruling the almost no suction gives you time to play with it.

It's overkill but if you're charging for it what's the problem?

It's good stuff we use loads of it
