sure its been poke about on many occasions that a flexible 103 angle one is better than a 90 degree solid? can anyone point me in the right direction for one that they use personally and recommend

thanks in advance 8)

with the ones available now ie not the old twitchers the thing ive noticed is everyone uses them wrong, spreads think they vave to bend wings back but they dont they are made to use first before you spread the wall therefore it feathers material into surface and you skim verically up it. not being a billy know all but thats how they are supposed to be used

Dont think it matters how you use them does it as long as it gets the job done !! I lay up as usual then use the tool after a couple of trowels and have never had a problem !!

i take all four corners off slightly with a sharpening stone and give the edges a good rub to sharpen them a bit .....stay away from 90 deg's mate there crap

i have one of these...
recommended internal corner trowel?

but ive never used it as it just feels to solid and only good if the walls are perfect 90 :-\

so i should be looking for something along the lines of this...

but 103?

Yes buy the more flexible version, you can bend it to suit ur needs as and when u need to.
u dont have to spend a fortune on them ,a name no longer means quality.you need to look at the tool and feel the quality dont just think Marshalltown is the best .
i have one in my kit but dont use it that often as i work alternate walls when i can.
no kit box should be with out one though.
i dont no what make mine is ive had it years all i know is its got a blue plastic handle and its works perfect.

probably refina then if its a blue handle..... angle trowels are cheap anyway only about £10 just make sure its stainless

yeha just used the marshalltown pics as an example really, i use a fair few cheaper end tools apart from my skimming trowels, cant seem to find any of these pliable internal trowels in shops tho to have a jab n a poke at

the cheaper and more flexible the better really,i got given mine 6-7 years ago,by my dad who didnt lik ethem .
u can get them off net but best to feel them like i say.

i use marshaltown too...but n0t the 90 degree one the slightly bigger angle one ..i dont bend wings in....i just rounded edge on both edges ..prob same size roundness as a 1p coin like when u breakl in edge of trowel but more extreme...works a treat and they never dig in

they do look s**t but it says there adjustable so could be usefull.....like my wife, she looks s**t but a great shag so usefull

I use the same as the big marshaltown but a Spanish version which is slightly bigger and more flexible but not often still try and work into a hard corner.
Lucius.
