Read this book!

I have not posted for a while but i will be back soon..
Have a lot on at the moment including some exterior marmorino applications whilst the nice weather is here.

I would advise anybody intersted in using lime finishes to go and get this book
Using Natural Finishes, i bought a copy last year and read it twice because it was so informative, i bought two more copies and sent them to my colleagues in Italy and USA.
The authors explain many finishes, lime, clay, gypsum, applications and historical/traditional uses in a clear and straightforward way.
A very informative read..

I contacted the author after reading it because it was such a good read.

Ive heard about this book. Didnt Paul marlow write a section in that book. The images of your exterior look good and cant wait to see it finished

Yes, PDMarlow wrote the marmorino section,
You should read it too, the authors are English and it gives a good explaination about why the UK stopped using lime and this led to cement finishes taking over.
The need for fast rebuilding after the war was one of the reasons..
