Re-doing Krend.

Alright lads,
Had bit of a nightmare with a krend silicone ft wall. Only a 12m2 wall, all on by 9.30 but was still too soft to scratch at 4.00 so left it overnight and obviously it was rock hard by the morning, managed to get a scratch over it but it looks s**t. It was a freebie for a mate who says he is happy with it but I can't leave it like it. It has the scope to put re-bead it with 10mm beads, so was thinking give it a coat of R7 acrylic bonding aid, then 10 mm of krend. Has anyone done this? If so, is there any suction or does it need an accelerator in the mix?
Going to cost me £200 to re-do so want to get it right!!.
Thanks in advance.

Mix the R7 with HP12 and make a stipple coat and allow to dry , just enough to give you a key within your 10/12mm stop beads
