Price difference - sand/cement vs k rend

Had a few quotes for rendering.
1 for k rend and a couple for Parex.
Then a guy comes and tells me sand/cement will be loads cheaper.
He then sends me a quote that is more than the k rend and almost as much as the Parex.
I'm guessing he was trying to have my pants down?
What should the realistic price difference be?
Approx 170m2

Varies too much... location is a big factor... you need to get 3 or so quotes in from locals and then from there you can see if they were in the ball park...

Us on here saying x y or z is not going to help you at all....

Getting a renderer that has a great reputation is far more important than the price in my opinion, if it looks pants then everybody driving past will see it and it will cost more to put it right
