Preparing Dried Hardwall for Tiling

I have a bathroom that has been plastered in Thistle Hardwall and subsiquently found this can't be tiled onto as it need a top coat finish.

This was done 6 months ago so is now fully dried, I was looking at using Thistle GypPrime but the white books says "Tiles up to 20kg/m2 can be applied directly to the Thistle finish coats, except where the system includes a bonding agent.

What is the best method to prepare this for a Thistle MultiFinish?

so somebody came in floated your bathroom in Hardwall and didn’t apply any finish coats to the walls

I'm thinking a couple of coats of 4 parts water to 1 part glue and a multifinish over the top. The hardwall is proper dry, but worried about high suction from it.

Well if your having the whole bathroom tiled from top to bottom go cheap as s**t and get a chancer in to skim the walls the tiles will cover there dodgy attempt
