Further to my last thread on powerwall, i was at the job yesterday and there was some of the old roughcast to be removed which i did and underneath the block is thermalite which is in very bad nick, would it be best to use a stabiliser on the block before i scrim it or an sbr?

The block has been wire brushed and hosed down.

Well the the front of the house had been stripped and scrimmed about two yrs ago less the bit i stripped yesterday about 4m2 so i will need to use adhesive coat and scrim so in keeping it the same as whats been done already, i realise the suction on the thermalite will be a bitch ( part of the reason the original roughcast was coming off in sheets) so i was just planning on soaking then stickin a stabilser on before i coat the adhesive on

Yeah poly scrim!

Powerwall will supply a fungicidal sealer to kill the suction and i would use their base adhesive coat because it will go on a bit thicker than their normal adhesive coat

Yeah thats the stuff i have ordered, i have 2 gallon of alumasc fungicidal sealer which im pretty sure is much the same as the powerwall stuff, another question i have is once it is scrimmed should i use the FS over all the panel to kill suction on the area that has been lying for 2 yrs and shoulod i not use a stabiliser on the bare block rather as a FS?

Thanks in adavnce
