Did he claim to be a plasterer or some sort of handyman/jack of all trades/builder?
Why did you pick him specifically?

Ok, just seen your other post - so it's a rental and presumably you are short of cash and had to take a low quote.
It is at least sort of better than when you started doing the work the landlord should have done. Others have suggested moving out if at all possible, I agree.
Bit of filler and sandpaper, paint it and leave. The landlord has a better bedroom than when you started. Use the photo's to recover your deposit when he says you left it in a state etc. to prove you left it better than it was in when you started, and without the polystyrene fire hazard he'd covered up with wallpaper.

No i didn’t go for the lowest. It was the 3rd highest I went for as felt comfortable with them and fb work etc good and people I know used them.

I don't care what so called 'good reviews' he's got on facebook they're easily faked....no way on gods fkin earth a proper experienced spread did that... you've had your pants pulled down by a chancer, all to common in the trade nowadays I'm afraid.

Sorry but It does not look like a proper spread's work and I bet he didn't volunteer to come back and do the filling and sanding himself.
But I don't see how you could have done more to get someone who knew what they were doing. It's not fit for purpose as it is so I would want to withhold payment, if it's not too late.

What do you advise…. So two of them come to do the job. One the plasterer the other that works with him sometimes who is more a painter and decorator by trade. So he sent the decorator one back to repair. Basically he cut out more of the crack and filled it and rubbed down areas I moaned about , also filled areas and rubbed down. But some areas haven’t been corrected at all like the plug area has a hole and is bumpy as filler isn’t smooth and they didn’t take sockets off to plaster. Other plug socket apparently he can’t get too to rub down so that is rough. So some issues have been corrected fine as just needed a rub down, but the filler areas some are still s**t as it’s raised over plaster lol what shall I do now? Try sort it myself , give up or kick off more
