Plastering help

Members online

Hi in the picture you can see two ajecent wall's . I won't want to plaster the one wall near the stairs as the other is pretty much sound. Is there any beading for this instead of using angle beads and plastering the two walls and getting a nice point or do have to still put the angle beads on ?

just feather into the bead :D no bother at all :D

You can cut the existing plaster back to expose a small amount of the existing bead :D

Any plasterer worth their salt will be able to do that :D

Lol thanx. I'm not bad for someone who has only learnt himself. Just a few little things then I will be ok.

ah did not realise you were doing it yourself :D

run a stanley knife down the lip of the bead on the side you want to feather in :D it clears a few mm of plaster out but gives it an edge :D

Worst case is when you paint the edge it looks pants and you need to fill and sand a little... but that is not the end of the world
