Metal or Plastic Beads? I also have a problem with rusting metal ones in the wall. Also best way to secure the bead to a uneven edge? :RpS_blink: Thanks. V.:RpS_biggrin:

Lots of plasterers prefer plastic, I like the stainless ones myself. You can secure a bead by using screws or plaster or both depending on the edge and depth etc

a few dabs of multi along the edge, then lightly bed your bead. should be able to get it plumb with a level if it's not too far out. wipe off any excess.

you could also staple it or use clouts etc depending on the background. but as above if you can

Metal unless its for an arch! Gripfill can sort out fairly uneven corners but if its completely all over the place do as Jurek suggests.

metal beads inside,, stainless in kitchens and bathrooms and stick up with finish or floating unless boards then nail
