plastering a straight line

hi lads and ladies can anyone help .how do you plaster a straight line along a coom ceiling tried using stop bead and took my time. tryed to get customer to have them rounded but they wanted them straight any tips would be great cheers davie

I think you will have to hack the coom out and give a slither of bonding above and below

I don't like stop beads in this instance, plaster opposite splay angles first ,straighten with an edge or spat. Bond and straighten if top quality needed

It all depends on how straight the joinery work behind the boards is. If it is pants you will have to try and straighten it with the boards and bonding also if the boarding is pants the more prep you will have to put in to straighten them. Spring a chalk line along it if your not sure of doing it by eye.

Use a spat and do each side seperate.
