Hi,

I did a basic plastering course a few months ago o plaster a house i was buying. One thing I am unsure of is what is the best method to plaster gap left by a stud wall i have removed. I don't want to reskim the entire wall, I am happy to fill gap with plasterboard the skim over the gap. What should I use and do I need to tape over the jpoins at the side. Any other advice, tips you have please comment.

Thanks

if its board use bonding if its block or brick use hardwall and wet or pva it before if youve got the depth dab it with board and if youre reskimming the whole wall scrim both joins

dab it scrim the joins and feather it in each side ...or buy some fast set put two or three coats over the lot and sand it down
