Plasterer wanted in Wetherby

Hi

I've just joined the forum as I am looking for a good plasterer to skim a couple of bedrooms in the house we are redecorating in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. Initially I'm looking for a re-skim of ceilings and walls in two similar sized bedrooms both approx 3.9m x 3.1m. Walls are all oldish badly painted plasterboard. One ceiling is artex finish, the other has been overboarded.

I've tried calling a few local plasterers but it seems like it's a very busy time of year so thought I would try this forum for any ideas. Of course I'd like to get (at least one of) the rooms done as soon as possible (doesn't everyone).

Anyone who can help and possibly provide a quote/recommendation can contact me by email at [email protected].

Possible further work in other rooms later in the year.

There's a few West Yorkshire lads on here, they'll be back on soon enough.

It's the time of year, every body is busy,if they are not you have to ask why not?

I have the same problem with getting people to work for me. I wait until January, always get who I want at the right price.

Thanks for the replies and those who contacted me directly by email. I've got a couple of leads to follow up, but nothing firmed up as yet. Any further ideas would be welcomed but I'll probably have to wait my turn until someone becomes available when holiday season has run its course.
