I am looking for some plastering/building work anywhere in the uk - I am based in Wales but have just completed a job on the Isle of Skye - so will travel
nvq level 3
Self employed plasterer for the last 7 years
Own transport /tools
Clean, polite and and honest hard worker - multi skilled
I want top money for a quality job

No but would have - I rang up about it as it was posted somewhere else. Anyone thinking of working outside in Scottland watch out for the midgees.

lol I know what you mean bout the midges...went to a festival near a large stream in a place called palgowan few years ago... the midges were like dragonflies... you could see the whites of their eyes!!

theres been a few on here including myself asking how to get a level 3 and how much does it cost?

You can get your level 3 through OSAT, but you need your level two first.

Units for the NVQ Level 3 in Solid Plastering

Mandatory Core Units:

Conform to General Workspace Safety

Confirm Work Activities & Resources for the Work

Develop & Maintain Good Working Relationships

Confirm the Occupational Method of Work  

Produce Complex Internal Solid Plastering Finishes

Produce Complex External Rendering Finishes  


Plus any one of the following optional units:

Install Direct Bond Dry Linings

Install Mechanically fixed Plasterboard  


Additional units (not compulsory):

Produce Granolithic Paving Work

Produce Specialised Plasterer's Surfaces

Run In-situ Mouldings
