First of all sorry if I am asking anything silly...

So I plan to tile bathroom onto plasterboard.
The plasterboard is going to be dot dabbed onto brick. I am going to PVA the brick first.

I want to screw plasterboard on as well to be sure it's fixed.

Can I drill pilot holes and put plugs into brick, then dot dab, then screw (while wet).

Or do I dot dab then drill through, put plug in and screw

Also once done before I tile anything need to be done (prime? If so with what?) (Tape gaps?)

Thanks for any advice in advance..

well you should've said it was MR board then and not just plasterboard which says to everyone just standard plasterboard clever cunnt
MR is just a type of plasterboard isn't it? Wasn't being clever at all.

This forum is very friendly I must say.

Thanks to the couple of helpful posters anyway. Knowledge must appreciated.

If it’s an old house, then insulate the walls. Nowt worse than a cold fully tiled bathroom.

Aslong as it’s not engineering bricks if it is use blue grit you will be fine and dabbing you don’t need to drill and fix if anything you may break the bond with the dabs with the vibration just dab away
