Plaster Mix Quantities

I've got a few walls to do at home and as it is first time plastering I am going to start off with the smallest one's first.

The first one I am going to attempt is 4.75 sq m (2.26 x 2.1).

How do I know how much to mix? I know all you seasoned professionals will "just know", but is there a specific amount of water that roughly equates to a square meterage? Or even a rough guide would be helpful.

Half a bag of multi finish around half a black bucket full of h20

Agree with spanky there but if you can't get h2O just use water instead, good luck with it bud :thumbup:

Think its 11 ish litres to a bag it says on the bag , and abag does approx 10 metres ....
