Plaster 3d Wall Panels

Has anybody used these 3d wall panels?
I've been asked by a friend to have a go at putting these up on a small wall, I've not come across anybody who has used them, the place where he got them from said you use drywall adhesive to stick them to the wall with a notched trowel like a tile but I'm not sure if that sounds right to me, he said pva the panels and pva the wall then use the drywall to stick em on!?

What do you think?

i used lafarge compound on them and just dotted them , and Iv screw them before on another job, tape jointer finish them off.

Did you pva them first before you put em up?

yes but the panels were fixer to plasterboard so i only done the back of panels , gave them a couple of coats 2nd one left tacky, i always use lafarge compound because it always tends to stick to any backgound, on the other job the wall was batten out so i just screwed them, hope it helps yer m8

hope the walls more plum than the one i had to work on ,thats why i had to dot it , enjoy
