Hello,

I have two flats that need skimming.. all old lathe and plaster in a reasonable condition.
We need to skim quite a few of the walls and go over the artex ceilings..
Please can someone advise whats best? I got told a good few coats of pva but now about the green plasprime?

cheers sarah :rolleyes)

I'm sorry but you have called at a very busy time, all our operators are solving the "Who is the Wand?" case at the moment. Someone will be with you in.......... 3 hours.
Thank you for your patience. :)

best to get a plasterer.:RpS_thumbup:

I use plasprime on old walls, if the plaster is sound just plasprime the walls with a roller.

We sometimes patch the walls with old skim in areas that need filling first then coat the walls with plasprime and skim.

Don't forget the old plaster will have loads of suction on them.

Everyone's different I guess, I ain't a fan of pva, sbr is better but the stuff is made to go on bare plaster so I don't bother.
