Anyone got a Nokia Lumina, going to sort me out a new phone tomorrow as its pissing with rain again its either that or a Galaxy which i dont like and i dont want another useless Iphone just wondererd what they are like.
 
We had the lumina as the work phones. Couldn't wait to get rid of it!! Worst phone I have ever had. Battery life was shocking and always used to crash. 3310 was better! It always used to freeze when you tried calling someone as well.
My girlfriend has the galaxy and it seems ok apart from the battery life, if your using it lots you won't eat more than 6hrs out of it!
 
i have the samsung builders phone, dust proofe, water proofe i just want to make phone calls. with a good sound so that you can understand what the caller is talking about
 
Ime the same as you Malc need a phone to phone but like having the benefits of a smart phone, my boys got the new Galaxy Dan and hates it only had it a week and going back to the Iphone, i think ile give the Nokia a miss 1stop after what you said, i had an 1phone and got on with it well but coulldnt cope with the short battery life and the fact it was crap as a phone.Ile have a look at the Galaxy tomorrow Dan and find out what my boy finds wrong with it, i know he was moaning about sending texts to many options to go through before you could text or something.
 
I reckon the iPhone is best. If ur having problems with the battery on them you can turn off the wifi, 3G, data roaming and it really saves the juice! Still works great as a phone then but for Internet you need them all on
 
ex has a lumina, windows 7 job. hate it.. Cant do anything with it tbh though she likes it.
 
Thats the whole point of a smart phone though the 3g,its allgiving me a headache now ile worry about it in the morning Lol
 
lucius i have lumia 800 never had any freezing probs with it,i i like it as always used nokia`s,my problem was the speaker getting feck up with dust etc but tat happens but it was fixed under warranty
 
Lucius there is a case for the i phone that charges in and there is also a plug in extra battery that obviously increases battery life. Thing is with any phone if your using the 3g its gonna rape the battery
 
Lucius I always had nokias so thought I'd get a lumia charged it took about 5 calls next morn and that was it dead went to iphone bought decent case no probs since
 
I'm seriously considering going the other way completely in as much as forget the smart phones , get myself a little £15 £ 20 bog standard phone to make phone calls , wont matter if its dropped , smashed ,gives up the ghost , but i will combine it with a ten inch tablet that sits in the van and means i can get on line and do the clever stuff if i need to.
 
what we need is 2 sim cards.... one for a dusty phone and one for a smart phone. i love my galxay and inow even have the tablet as well. But when i was on the tools i was lucky if a phone would last the month.

Double tap the front button? Aye, supposed to work. Another thing to do is to turn off the location services for everything (except the find my iPhone app and maybe Siri if you use it)
 
ive got the s3 and its a great phone. i dropped it (practically launched it) and cracked the screen. £50 to fix. cant wait to get it back though. apart from that its pretty durable. the batteries shite on them though
 
I got a galaxy note brilliant phone and no need for a notepad when pricing and it all saves in one place i wouldnt be without mine and a good sat nav too
 
I've already said on another thread this is the best phone it's got everything you need!!

How many of you have two or more phones? Never trust a man with three phones:RpS_sneaky:One phone for buisness, one phone personal,..... And the third phone for keepin in touch with the ladies and any other dodgy Shiite you don't want the mrs to know about:RpS_wink:..............
I work with a boy who has three phones on the go:rolleyes) feckin nuts
 
i used to have 2 but it just gets annoying. there needs to be a way of having 2 sim cards for 1 number.
