Patchy K rend

Hi all
I am looking for advice as I have recently (at the weekend) had my house rendered using k rend. I had a local plasterer to do it and it is looking patchy and slightly uneven. I have spoken to a couple of lads who use k rend regularly and they suggest that I will have to remove it all and reapply!

The questions I have are. If I do need to remove it do I need to go back to the brick and reapply the base? If it is to be removed is there any easy way to do it or just knock it off as with normal render?
