Patching Large Round Holes

Triangles !- one less cut, use the scraps to "lost board" behind the face, much easier and quicker than using battens.
I get arrogant IT T***s telling me its not rocket science all the time, then I have to fix their cock ups. Bolting and unbolting an engine is not a science or clever, plastering is an art...

I don't know how any fix could be quicker than using battens. It takes seconds to put 2 bits of batten across each hole. I already have the screws and drill out to fit the bit of board anyway

Chopsaw few lengths of slatelat already cut to length, we even carry different hole cutters, literally minutes to do 20 holes etc

What you do Norm is cut a bit of board to fit, get a bit of 2x1 and some screws...
