Patch Rendering, any tips?

I’m just refurbishing a house and I’m competent enough at skimming, but need to patch render several small areas externally.

I have most of the tools needed but was thinking of either making my own mix or shall I just buy bagged render and hope for the best, I have mesh and SBR to use if needed..

I have read some of the guides here and they are very helpful, but they are more based on big jobs rather than patching in, any help greatly appreciated..

You want to try to match the original mix , photos will help , be prepared for a change of plan lol

If l were you, bagged render, just add water, the finer sand makes it easier to achieve a good finish.
