here's my excuses before you start!

first ever time I've ever done it, i think the sand might have been a bit coarse, I'll put a bit of building sand in it next time, and it rained just after I'd got it roughly done, by the time it stopped and i got back to it it had pretty much turned.

any advice, criticism greatfully accepted

pug there seems to be a heavily tattood and piered man in flip flops standing next to your parge
 
i think the same , it takes bottle to post your work , deffo think you should of used a softer sand but it still looks good

Nice job mate so how did you do it as you work to the thickness of timber yet it stands proud of these how come
 
built it up using a small tool, tidied it up with daughters playdoh tools, sponge, paintbrush and fingers! next one will be better.
