done a big parinter over smooth painted on spec it was mint solid as a rock at 4mm with mesh then dpr sand fine over that.
its just a gritty as the maite blones (very gritty)
if u get a decent coverage with the parinter base you can sponge finish it and the grits come out leaving a really nice fine texture finish its coloured too g10 or g00 i cant remember now
Yer painted roughcast. Pics are on our Facebook page under " to be done".
Done a test patch on Saturday with mesh embedded gonna give it a good yank tomorrow. Hopefully it will do it's magic!
Anyone else used it alot?
Right......so this parinter will stick to paint, and goes over say a maite basecoat. So my question is can this be substituted for maite in all thin coat situations apart from over insulation direct? I'm thinking a parinter roughcast over a maite basecoat on insulation and in all renovation situations over dash etc painted or not. It has superior body to maite which covers rough surfaces well but isn't that thick or heavy. Also why don't they list dpr as a suitable covering for it?
