Just used this on painted rough cast and have to say its excellent and though some people may be interested in our results if they have never used it before.

Also tested it on a smooth section of plinth

yeah iv used it a couple of times before. good gear and not too pricy. makes you wonder why they have maite at double the price really
 
used it before for the same application (over painted dash) although we primed it first with jub unigrund, just like maite monocomposant to spread so it sticks like sh*t, surely there must be a reason why maite is double the price? IVOR it all depends on how thick the dash is............................

Maite is very hi polymer for insulation see Nicky with a very high compresive strength

Parinter is low or possibly not a polymer but mainly lime based making for a good lightweight thin coat renovation mortar

sponge finished is nice the aggs cum out loverly
