Done plenty of scraped but customer adamant they want sponge finish...

Big areas so is colour ok or patchy?

And any tips as considering not doing job if it's not nice to sponge up.

I personally cannot see it being nice sponged. One lad saying he used a power float and sponge and looked ok but not as nice as scraped??

Yeah we've done some.
 
You can but it's just catching it at the right time in the setting process.
I've only done it with white or an off white g20. I'd imagine darker colours wouldn't work, as it would dry cloudy.
 
With all honesty......if you haven’t done any before......and not prepared to redo the whole job.......I wouldn’t recommend it

Hi pal rubbing monorex is a fine art must be rubbed at a perfect time and the whole facade done the same with great timing ! Not recommended but you have to use gf not gm and if you need another tip inbox me mate
The issue is the lime comes to the surface leaving a inconsistent colour
