I've put a coat of paint around some tiles in a kitchen and the paint isn't keying very well to the mastic that's been applied to the edge of the tiles - should I pull the mastic out and slip an edge strip in, or will the paint take if I put more coats on?
Water based paint won't stick to silicone, but oil based will.
Put a bit of White undercoat where it's not sticking then emulsion on top.
Zinseer stain block is good aswell,
