Painted plasterboard

Anyone ever had to skim over painted plasterboard, would people recommend maybe pva it then skim like a reskim or not?

Use either pva or if it is vinyl silk paint thats been used on the plasterboard use wickes bonding agent to give it a key.Or try Feb blue grit its cheaper.

ive had bonding agent and skim bubble the paint before on painted plasterboard.... its all down to who painted it and whether they did the job right in the first place... no guarantees with this one, best advice is dont play with it when you got it on...
