Now then lads , Everyone got plenty of graft on ???????
Quick question . Has anyone used that one coat plaster from B&Q ???
Had to do a little guvvy job for one of the joiners of the site i am on .
Never seen the job , joiner just told me the crack on the phone last nite . so he picked me up this morning ,had 2 go 2 B&Q for bag skim . Thought i would try the one coat bag , normally i would of used skim but out of couriousity thought i would give the one coat a go , job was re wire in kitchen that needed patching up
and door boarding and skimming. patched up chases with browning and a handful of plaster just to let the browning set a bit quicker . come to knock half bucket of skim up the c**t was like render sand , anyway slapped the gear on . took bout 5 mins , took over 3 hours just to start to set , wish i just used the multi instead .
Never mind . After 17 yrs in the job i should of known better .
