Hi there, In reply to your post, So long as the skim is smooth and flat with no hollows. that will be good enough as the wall will be primed before applying any polished/venetian products.
I wasnt putting him off, I was just making him aware of how hard it is to get the work! It takes alot of marketing etc. If its that much of a dodle render why havent you done loads of jobs then?
