Been to look at a job this morning after someone had done the damp proofing as the plastered had cracked and they wanted a 2nd opinion. The tenant said the bloke was only there for one day and did the whole job. (Alarm bells ringing). So I asked her what the bloke had done and she said he had hacked it off, painted on some black tar stuff, rendered the wall and skimmed it the same day...............WTF................:RpS_scared:. Suprisingly she said that he had put in the cheapest quote to the letting agent...........:rolleyes). I took so pics just to confirm reality

Yep,usually spec'd for 3-1.ive done work for builders who want it done the same day as that what a lot of damproof companies usually do to prevent further visits to site.tell em it will probably crack,if they don't listen then they will learn by their mistakes.
