not bothered plasterer?

[apprenticeship advice]

hey everyone so I'm currently doing a plastering apprenticeship and I'm working for two plasterers [no labor by the way] and iv been off work for the last two weeks cause the plasterer only seems to have outdoor work and its raining nearly all the time. he says he will have indoor work but he doesn't seem bothered that he hasn't being working the last two weeks. any advise?

get used to it apprenticeship, this is the weird and wonderful world of plastering you have entered into, your boss has got the right attitude

It’s hard to pull a full week together especially if you do internal and exterior plastering work , I try to do long stretches of one instead of both as it’s a pain to swap all my van over

as an apprentice you get paid in full even if the firm has no work. if things get slack they can transfer an apprentice to another local firm. what is the problem ?
