Well it's says it will work. Best use foam to stick it though as it's not solid like board adhesive. Sound travels through dence things like water and you can hear things when you dive under the sea or bricks are dence so sound travels through. The centre of those boards will vibrate and sound can't get through it. Guess you need to keep gap around edge with packers then pull when set. fill edge with mastic then plaster? Good find that..

We used them about two years ago, total ball buster due to the weight but tbh they stuck perfectly with dab
cos they are only 1200 high did you stick the bottom then let it set before sticking the tops ?? just thinking how it can be a ball ache when your dabbing short boards on top of each other and you get a hollow where the boards join when your getting them plumb sometimes ? especially when they are 45kg each @tcd

Start at bottom and buy pack of window packers to space and adjust as you go. 1mm and 2mm will do it. Pull packers out when set

That's exactly what we done, bottoms on let them set then put the top board on, solid dabs horizontally just below the top of the bottom board, then a solid dab along the bottom of the top board just like a skirting line, the ball ache came from lifting the top boards on , as said should be a spec for acoustic sealant as well, not a ball ache just a bit more time
