Can anyone advise me on a problem I believe is know as haloing, on weber plal m. When I finally scratch it there appears to be shaded rings in just 1 or 2 places that won't disappear.
Thanks

Normally this can be caused by your second coat (guess your doing by hand ) scraping back to the first coat , IMO :RpS_unsure:

Thanks this did cross my mind but if you continue to scratch around it it doesn't increase in size. I wondered if it was time taken between passes. And yes I am hand applying it.

Spat ,or rule your first coat ,if you do get a ghosting use a pointing trowel over the area rather then the scratcher ,may help mate ,but second coat thicker is best ,all the best :RpS_thumbup: buy a machine ,it will all go away ,the M on weber pral ,means machine

Thanks have been considering a machine but not sure which one is best. Didn't realise the M was for machine is there a better product for hand application? I've used K rend a few times but I'm new to weber.

Dont worry about it nicky b my mate last year scratched back krend and left what can only describe as a dartboard type of shape! And I thought jesus its jockey wilson renderers! In one a toaster in 2 arecord player and bullys special prize a speedboat !
