New Trowels

Yes mate

Nice range

Two handle/shank heights to choose from depending on your choice and plenty of sizes.

The steel on the blade is nice. Threw on 90m2 of multi and 35m2 hardwall with it Thursday and Friday. Never really wore it in before hand, just roughed it down on some fresh screed for 10 mins.

Flattened in nice though, better than expected. Seems a lot like the ox trowel but the blade metal is a bit better I think.

Good value at the moment at around £30 for those who are interested.

Don't know too much about it.

But what people rave about as 'Japanese' was made from tamahagane ore for the swords, and yes that was hard as fu£k.

Don't know if these are though as they're stainless.

I would say mine didn't 'tamp' the multi though like some new stainless ones do, where it draws the water to the surface.

It worked more like my carbons.

is Japanese steel good?

I`d always go with good old British Steel #judaspriest #metalgods

the forums, Clay plaster man, had a few different Jap trowels for sale on his web page with very thin blades in stainless.
