There’s just no decent hardwares anywhere near me.Still waiting for @Plasterers1StopShop to open a branch here.I would really try to not mail order a trowel. It’s are main tool mate so personally I want to see it in person (try the handle etc.) before purchasing.![]()
Buying trowels would definitely be worth having a trip out for mate. There’s just no decent hardwares anywhere near me.Still waiting for @Plasterers1StopShop to open a branch here.
Nearest decent one is a fair spin.I’ve just been lucky with any I ordered.Of course your right the best way is look before you buy.Buying trowels would definitely be worth having a trip out for mate.
I get most from the U.S And use Kraft trowels a lot now they are equally as good as mt trowels if not better ,saying that here in Ireland u can get trowels in most hardware stores the only trowel I have not used is refina ,I have Nela ,ox ,mt ,Kraft,Tyzack ,and I have to say the Kraft is the lightest and in my opinion the best balanced of the lotIf you had to mail order plastering trowel, rather than hand pick it/select it and buy in person from the shop, where would you order yours, which place you think it would be lowest probability for trowel to come warped, bent or damaged ?
Regardless of type and brand.
