I worked with a very good carpenter to install these beams in a room in our house, its called a coffered ceiling.
I can't plaster so I taped and jointed it, which took ages and was messy.
As a matter of interest, could an experienced plasterer, skim those beams in one day, that's; fit all beads/tape, then 2 coats of multifinish?
The room is 6.0m x 5.0m, there are 12 bays, each approximately 1800 x 900mm.
