Hi

Iv just stared doing up a bathroom someone else started and the celling is a nite mare its a old late and plaster with new bits of platerboard in it. Basically its reli rough iv done a fare bit of plastering in the past and the only way i could think of getting a nice smooth finish would be to one coat it the put 2 coast of multi over the top would this work or just be a complete nightmare?

2 coats of one coat should be fine mate :RpS_thumbup:
Or as nick says 3 coats of onecoat if you want.
Whatever floats your boat :RpS_wink:

if ur doing tiling work after plastering? floor to ceiling, i would put up 2"x1" wood frame, for extra 2 hours work, (make it nice and level,) reboard and skim, then u will have a nice and neat tile cut at the top. good job and quicker..with no come backs.
